Fetch!

Fetch! is a single player adventure game where you get to control a German Shepard as he unravels mysteries and completes quests on a farm. The narrative is fed to the player via a story about a young boy growing up on the farm. How the player interacts with the boy and the rest of the farm impacts different aspects of the story and how the NPC characters perceive you. 

Best described as Untitled Goose Game meets Stray, Fetch! aims to deliever a fluid experience with an meaningful but simple narrative. Currently, my goal is for this project to last approximately 2 to 3 hours in length.  This is still very early days in development. Currently playable via keyboard. Updates to controls coming in the next build release to include gamepad.

Stuff I'd like to add:

- Fighting mechanics so the dog can attack intruders

- Drag or pickup functionality so the dog can move times and drag things

- Digging animations and other fun dog stuff.

- No environments yet, but the farm will be fairly large in acreage to allow for decent exploration for a small game. It will feature variety in areas too so different scenarios can play out.

- Farming family + Farm hands NPCs

- Questlines from NPCs and interactive items. 

- Much, much more.
